We know how stressful exams can be, so for four weeks after exams have finished (23 May-17 June) we have teamed up with MMU Futures to offer you a whole host of events and activities. The activities on offer provide you with the chance to enhance your skills so you can stand out in a crowded graduate job market, whilst giving something back to the community through volunteering.

In October 2015, the Birley Community Orchard was planted. We’ll be pruning our lovely plum and cherry trees, weeding and installing maggot traps.

Join us for a short trip to Longley Lane Materials Recovery Facility. The site tour will show you how recycling is separated and sorted for recycling, giving valuable insight into the fascinating, and often unseen, world of waste!
