Volunteering opportunities through MMU!

Not sure what you want to do after university? Read on!

The benefits of volunteering are huge! You’ll not only benefit yourself by developing your skills and experience, but you’ll feel all warm inside by giving something back to society – not to mention making key contacts to help you get that job!

You’ll find longer-term volunteering opportunities via the Students Union (SU) Volunteering page, but, they also have an amazing team who will help you find the right opportunity for you. The team also offer support if you have a volunteering project you’d like to get off the ground. For queries or to talk to someone about your volunteering options, please contact the Volunteering Team at volunteering@mmu.ac.uk.

Want to follow a more sporty route after university? The MMU Sport Volunteering programme provides MMU students with a vast array of opportunities to volunteer in sport. This programme is coordinated by MMU Sport – A partnership between Manchester Metropolitan University and The Union to provide students with an opportunity to put their subject knowledge into practice, in a real-life environment!

You can claim bronze or silver points for volunteering – see our ‘Volunteering – is it worth bronze or silver points‘ page or contact us at mmufutures@mmu.ac.uk if you have any further queries.
