MMU Make a Difference

The Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) Make a Difference programme is a platform that provides Humanities, Languages and Social Science (HLSS) students with a range of opportunities and activities to get involved that not only makes a difference to others and the environment but also to themselves.

As an HLSS student if you cannot find anything they want to get involved in, you can also create your own opportunities more suited to what you are passionate about. This can range from creating one off volunteering activities at a community center, fundraising for your chosen charity, creating a homework club at your local library or even creating your own social enterprise venture.

To help you get started you can apply for funding and will receive bespoke training that is suited to you as well as receive one to one advice and guidance to make sure your ideas are a success.

All opportunities and activities are awarded MMU Futures points. Bronze for taking part and silver for creating your own.

If you have any questions or would like more information please feel free to contact the team.
